Minutes of the Meeting - 11th July 2013
• Day: Thursday
• Date: 11th July, 2013
• Time: 3:15 – 4:00
• Venue: Activity Hall
• Chaired by: ‘President’ of the Club, Satyasri Kar.
• Proceedings:
1. The meeting started with the ‘President ‘of the club calling one minute silence for world peace.
2. Then the President, Secretary, Vice President, Treasurer and the five Managing Directors sat together and discussed about the different events that the Interact members would organize in the upcoming days.
3. Interact members suggested different ways to raise funds and some possible ways to use them for a good cause.
4. Some of the ways were:
• To put a stall on 15th August that would be selling soft drinks and snacks.
• Plans for a newspaper drive in school to raise funds for the underprivileged.
• Collection of old clothes, blankets, and scarf to distribute among the old people.
• To distribute toys, children magazines and usable story books among the poor children on Children’s Day.
5. The newspaper drive was initiated on 12th July, 2013 up till 20th July, 2013. A total of 107 newspapers were collected. And the total money collected was Rs.300.
